Chapter 4: Paparazzi

I felt her forehead.
“Hmmm.” She snuggled. And I took her in my arms, wrapping her body. Our bodies touching.
“I’m scared.” She said. I think she’s crying.
I tried to sit up, and comfort her. But she wouldn’t move. She held tighlty on my neck.
“You know, you’re choking me.” I joked.
“No. Chansung. I don’t want to let go. I just wanna touch you.” She said.
“Did something happen?” I asked. She kept quiet. I know something bad happened when she starts acting like this. Until I realized…
“Did someone touch you?” I asked again. She cried like a baby. She was definitely hurt. And I’m furious about who did that to her.
All I could do for now is hold her tightly, and think of something…
“Don’t worry dear. I’m here now.” I assured her.
She fell aslep. I settled her on the couch. I looked at her and she was definitely beautiful. Her jawline is perfect. I am very lucky to have her in my life.
While looking at her, I decided to take a picture. You know what they say, ‘take a picture, it’ll last longer.’ I took out my phone and found missed calls from her! I started feeling bad. I was angry that I wasn’t even there to know and protect her!
I sat on the soft carpet, leaning on the sofa where she slept. I was dozing off until my eyes betrayed me.
I heard a click and ubruptly opened my eyes. It was Mr. Park. “Hyung, sshhhh.” I motioned for him and pointed at Hae Rin.
He asked me to come to the kitchen with him. He let out a troubled sigh.
“We know who the paparazzi was.” He said.
“Oh really? What are you gonna do?” I asked.
He paused to drink water and he continued. “The thing is, he asked for compensation. It was quite big. But we decided not to give anything. He then posted the videos and some pictures on the web. Thus, creating a scandal in my company.”
“How about taking them all down?”
“We can’t. You know how netizens can be. The video spread like a plague. I guess we just have to face this problem. It’ll be sort out soon enough.” Mr. JYP was quiet. “But… The paparazzi wasn’t smart enough to know about HaeRin. But, if I were you I won’t let my guard down.”
I nodded. Seriously, these people can be really annnoying. Stalking people is really bad, especially when going ahead of the line.
