“Everything you can imagine is real.” This quote was said by the famous painter, Picasso (Pablo Picasso).

Just one day, I decided to read some of Picasso’s quotes. When I stumbled upon this one, it made an impact on me. Although I don’t know yet the real meaning behind it. Because each and everyone has their own opinions and imaginations.

I am more inclined in the artistic world. I used to be able to come up of things and make them using my imagination. My creativity was my forté, and it made me happy. But now, a lot of things have changed and it changed me completely. I am more living my life idly. My parents said so. And that hurt. When I really want to do something for myself, I am barred from doing so. I am forced to take a career path that I ONCE had liked, but not anymore.

The only good thing about me now is I’m still able to write. Although my use of proper english degraded over time when I haven’t been reading good books, my imagination still works. That’s my escape route if ever I just want and needed to get away from reality. Writing stories makes me happy and is my destressor. The only problem is, I haven’t finished any of them. That’s because I have no idea how to end the story. Its because I always write my stories in correlation with reality.

That’s where the quote comes in. I want everything to be real, no matter how crazy it sounds, it is real if you imagine it. I think I sort of got the idea of the quote. It doesn’t literally mean what it is. Creativity plays an enormous role in our life, and our imagination needs to be creative. (Hence, the creative imagination.) It helps us with the way we think and grow. Our imagination would shape our vision of what will be in our future. And there may be some psychological stuff included in this topic, but I’m not going to go over that.

What I’m actually trying to say is that we shouldn’t be ashamed of who we are, and what we do for ourselves. There may be good and bad sides to this topic, but being yourself is what’s important. Put yourself first, before the others. This isn’t narcissism. This is just like the saying, “you can’t love others, if you can’t love yourself”, or something close to that.

Hiding her true identity behind her day time job as a rookie police officer, Reiko comes home to her butler and driver, Kageyama whenever she is faced with a complex case, being a perfectionist, Kageyama is flawless when it comes to serving meals full course from hors d’oeuvre to dessert. He sharply points out the lack of reasoning on Reiko’s side, keeping the comment one fine line away from being offensive.

The cutting remarks by Kageyama and appearances by unique characters, as well as the play on words and light tempo of witty conversations…and most of all, being referred to as the “Armchair detective” who solves mysteries without encountering the suspects together create a daring mystery solving roller-coaster ride. – Fuji TV

Now, for my opinion. I give this drama 4.2 stars out of 5. The title means Solving Mysteries after Dinner, or something. This is just how I translated it, but I may be wrong (90%). I just caught up when Reiko would always talk to Kageyama about the case she’s dealing with while eating dinner, and Kageyama would say something like, “The reveal can wait during dessert, finish your main dish first.”  Reiko (played by Keiko), is such a beautiful girl! She portrayed her character very well. An heiress, and an only daughter, which is also very spoiled, and she completely uses a facade to hide herself from being an heiress to her  boss! Which is quite funny when it happens before each episode ends. I’m not gonna spoil that much, because then I would give away too much info (although I already did). Also, for Kageyama (played by Sho), portrayed being a butler well. You see, the butler in this story is not your typical butler. Although, he would wear tuxedos, and very smart, and handsome (well, your typical butler hehe). One thing that gets my interest is his very sharp tongue.

The drama has 10 episodes. Main actors are Keiko Kitagawa and Sakurai Sho. These two have chemistry! One of the reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars, is because there wasn’t any romance at all. Yes, there were some hints, and I could feel that they have attraction to each other. But, they (probably the producers) kept the show light, and wanted to show the relationship between a spoiled, but thoughtful heiress and her sharp-tongued butler. There were some hints, and I was okay with it, because I know Kageyama truly cared for Reiko. (Especially those times where he would constantly gaze at her… >.<)

I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves mystery and comedy combined, with two amazing characters. This actually came out last year, so I don’t know if you’ve seen this yet or not.

Back to my main point tonight. Yes, I actually have a wishlist. Just want to share it just in case, you feel like giving me something. HAHA. Well, actually this wishlist is for the whole year. Some of these are uber expensive, and I’m just saving up on most of them.

1. Gift cards – any gift cards at all.

2. Taylor Swift “Wonderstruck” Perfume – I heard it smells so good, and since I’m such a huge fan of Taylor Swift, I really want one. It’s not inexpensive, and maybe a little bottle will suffice.

3. So, that goes with any perfume, like Selena Gomez’ fragrance line, which she will be unveiling on May! #SelenaGomezFAN

4. Since summer is starting, I want some new bikinis. I got one last year, but this time, I want the bandeau tops/bikinis. And that goes for corset tops as well. It’s quite hard to find corset tops here, and if there are some, I can’t afford it. HAHA. By the way, for bandeau tops, I’m in the smallest size possible. HAHA! :P

5. Pumps! Heels! Flats! Lace up ankle boots! Platforms! (I’m a size 6, just putting it out there…) TOMS, or any footwear. LOL!

6. More make-up stuff: NAKED/NAKED2 pallet, lipsticks (in variety of color)

My son is becoming increasingly interested in animals and nature. He has read hundreds of books on the subject. I want to encourage his passion, so I went to www.expertsatellite.com and upgraded my current package to include The Discovery Channel. My son is 9 years old and this is the first time he has ever shown an interest in something for more than a week. He has always jumped from one obsession to the next, but he has been obsessed with nature and animals for over a year now. I think he has finally found his calling. He loves animals and says he wants to one day be a veterinarian. The other day I walked in on him feeding a mouse cheese in his bed. The mouse’s tail had been trapped and my son set him free. For some reason, the mouse didn’t bite him or run. I obviously made him put the mouse outside, and then attempted to explain how nasty mice are and how many diseases they carry. I’m sure he would do it all over again though; he is just too caring to let anything suffer. I may not agree with him about mice, but I am very proud of my sweet, amazing boy.

Moving on to my main topic, last Friday (Good Friday), I got a day off from school. I was really excited because my college doesn’t have days off unless it’s a national holiday! Well, Friday was supposed to be our Spring recess. It doesn’t make sense at all. For us, only a day of spring break. Anyhow, I already asked that day to be free from work.

But anyway, I slept over at my friend’s house in Cooper City, which is about 30 min away from where I live. I love Monterra so much, haha. Well, it’s because of their clubhouse. They have pool table, gym, outside pool, etc. I just like it. And, I wanted to go there because of some personal reasons that I will share later on. (Another fling! just kidding). So, the next day, Ryan and his sister cooked breakfast and we went to the pool after our brunch. Well, we were watching a marathon of AWKWARD, which is by the way a series I will finish watching. We didn’t stay in the pool for a long time because Florida’s weather was quite bipolar, and it started raining.

Later that afternoon, Ryan and Kyle took me and my brother home, and we went to my aunt’s pajama party. The food was amazing, as expected! And well, we were just hanging out, played Truth or Dare, and I’ve been sipping some wine (a la walang hanggan). A sweet wine and I like it. My mom liked it too! Got home before 1am.

Yesterday, Sunday, was Easter Sunday. And Christ has risen!

After church, we headed to Oleta Park. My family and the Filipino community in our place went, and enjoyed an afternoon full of good food and sun-kissed activities. I was very much tanned, since I forgot to put sunblock. I didn’t swim because I didn’t like the smell of the water.

The sun was hot, but the wind was not. A cool breeze was present the entire afternoon and so I decided to go biking with Thea. We went on a trail, and it was my first time, we just tried the novice trail. It was very easy. But kinda scary as well. But I still had fun, although we were slow and was passed by several bikers that were much faster.

My thighs eventually started to hurt, but it was fine. The others went kayaking, but no matter how much they wanted me to go in the water. I didn’t give in! haha!!

Anyway, throughout the afternoon, several thoughts clammed in my mind. About love, life, and friends. There are just some people that no matter how long you’ve been together as friends, they still can’t be trusted. I don’t like plastics. Plastics can be recycled, but no matter what physical appearance they have, they will still be plastic, and it’s a fact. For me, I see myself as a translucent glass. Sometimes, I show the real me, most of the time no. It just depends on who knows the real me. Okay, imma stop with the drama.

Ever since I upgraded our television package at www.cabletelevision.net, I have gotten to where I love to watch reruns of a show that I watched in the nineties. It was my favorite show back then, and now I am reminded why I liked it so much back then. The show is the “X-Files”. I never missed an episode after I started watching it. I loved the show right until when Moulder was abducted and John Dogget became the new Moulder. I thought that Scully and Moulder had great chemistry. I tolerated Dogget when Moulder was gone, but when Moulder got back, his entire attitude had changed. He was really different. He was different towards Scully and everyone else. He was even skeptical of getting back involved with the supernatural after he got kicked off of the “X-Files”. I wish that they would do a reunion show! The movie was just not enough. I think that if they did a movie now, almost twelve years since the show went off that it would still be a big hit. I think that it was the longest running Sci-Fi show in history.
