Don’t be Afraid of the Dark

You shouldn’t be or else you wouldn’t be able to face your fears. And I have a story to tell, quite terrifying actually.

There we were, hogging each of the couches watching a movie called Won’t Last a Day Without You, which starred my idol Sarah G and Gerald A. Both Tiffany and I were so into the movie, we laughed so hard, because it was hilarious. Suddenly, their back door made a really loud sound, almost like being pushed open. No, it really was something being pushed open! I thought it was only me who heard it, so without saying anything to Tiff, I scanned the window outside, because the blinds were open, but I couldn’t see anything except for the dark with orange streaks of the sky. I also thought it was only the wind, but no, it was more than that.

I just had to ask Tiff if she heard it, because the blinds moved as well, of course Tiff heard it. I got so scared because I was exposed to everything! If someone was outside the window, I would be the first one he would see. We just decided to close the blinds, and thinking about how we dealt with that experience now, it was quite funny, but yet terrifying. After that, we decided to turn on the lights outside the back door, and turn off the lights inside so we’d know if someone is outside.

We continued watching the movie, and this time, I sat next to Tiff, with the blanket over our body. This time, another weird sound came from the front door! This really freaked us out because the lights were off except for the lights that was emitted from the television! I just decided to call my brother to come over her house because we were scared. Totally scared.

I tell you, I’m not afraid of ghosts or any paranormal things, because I am more afraid of real things, human beings, mortal. Thank God the doors were locked. And thank God we were safe as well, and nothing serious happened.

IF someone broke in, the first thing I would probably do is throw those plastic oranges that sits on top of Tiff’s living room table. Seriously.

So, after that encounter, when my bro stayed with us (well, stayed with his girlfriend…) we decided to watch Don’t be Afraid of The Dark, and dang, I prefer this movie, that what happened to Tiff and I earlier. And well, truthfully, I like the movie, because it scared me.

Okay, I’ll go to sleep now, and hopefully dream of something pretty.
